- Do you insure pups? Yes, Trinkaurity pups will come home with 5 weeks of free pet insurance which will commence the day you collect.
- Do you Vet Check pups? Yes, between 7-8 weeks, pups will have a thorough examination by my Veterinarian and you will receive a Veterinarian report. This ensures that should their be any health issues raised, we have time to discuss it well in advance of the puppy pick up day.
- Can I visit you and the pups? Yes, visits are placed during weeks 4-5 at my home, where your puppy is being raised. Please see my visitation policy to ensure you are aware of the current and up to date guidelines and procedures.
- How soon can I reserve a puppy? I will contact families who have been accepted onto my waiting list, in due course. This will not be before I have made all of my necessary assessments of my puppies and I am satisfied they are thriving and doing well.
- How often will you give pupdates to puppy parents? Weekly: Trinkaurity puppy parents are invited to join my private Facebook Group, which is for Trinkaurity puppy parents only. I will use this group to place regular weekly updates with pictures and videos of the pups.

- How long are dogs pregnant for usually? The average gestation is 63 days from mating to delivery!
- How do you know the mating was successful? 4-5 weeks post mating, my Dams will be booked for an ultrasound. I will inform all families on the waiting list of the results.
- How will I know if I am going to be able to reserve a puppy on the next litter? I am very transparent with my families and ensure they are aware of the waiting list and possibility of reserving a puppy on the next litter. As we are dealing with mother nature, it is impossible for me to predict how many eggs will get fertilised.
- How do you know when to take your Dam to stud? I progesterone test my girls with a tiny blood test to track the hormone levels in her blood. This is the most accurate way to identify when she is ready to mate.
- How does reservation work? I will complete assessments on all newborn puppies, begin the neonatal programmes, charting observation s and start assessing results. Simultaneously, I cross examine my waiting list. Whilst families are placed in order of non-refundable waiting list fee received, puppies do not always get reserved in this order. For example, family in 2nd place may only want a male with a black coat! They will understand the reality of waiting for the right pup to come along as I am very honest with my waiting list families about realistic expectations.
- Do you select puppies for us? I work collaboratively with families as reservations are undertaken often very early in the puppy’s life. Families are reliant on the information I share, which has to be honest, clear and open, to make an informed decision.
- What if we don’t want a puppy just yet or have changed our mind? There is never any pressure to accept a reservation for a puppy, as long as a family remains in contact with me, they can stay on my waiting list until they are ready.
