Trinkaurity Cockers

About Us

Trinkaurity Name:

‘Trinkaurity’ is my Kennel Name registered with The Kennel Club.  Trinkaurity is Trinity split apart (Trin—ity) with K for Kaysie and the ‘AU’ from Laura!    It is pronounced, Trin – Kor – ity!

The origin of the name is from ‘Trinity’ which has very precious meaning to me.  As such, I nicknamed my very first litter my little ‘Trinity Pups’!  Unfortunately, ‘Trinity’ is a common word and cannot be used by the Kennel Club as a Kennel Name.  After much deliberation, I proposed 3 different Kennel Names to the Kennel Club, and they chose Trinkaurity!

Ethos:

Trinkaurity Cockers represents an ethical, honest, transparent but most of all, loving family home from home breeding service.  I aim to ensure all puppies are nurtured, cherished and raised to the highest of standards.

Breeding Standards:

I am passionate about breeding to high standards; aiming to raise well balanced, healthy, beautiful family pups.  I strive to ensure the welfare, well-being and care of Mama and her pups is as exceptional as I can make it.  I meticulously plan each litter and continually improve and evolve my breeding practices.  I have a written set of policies and practices which I update annually (more often if needed), and these are available for viewing during visitation.

All dogs I own and any puppies bred, will have their own individual bespoke Trinkaurity Care Plan [TCP].  TCP’s track, monitor and records all aspects of their individual needs from whelping records, contracts, veterinary history,  worming records, weight charts and much more.

Studs:

I do not have my own stud, therefore my stud selection is based on many factors including & not limited to: health, DNA results, wellbeing, temperament, family environment, training, his Pedigree, COI (inbreeding score), previous litter health and overall stud and puppies sired conditions.

I am very selective and will only choose the very best in order to have every success of raising healthy, sound of temperament, well-balanced family pups.  Whilst coat colour is an important part of what I consider, and of course, I would always choose a handsome stud that compliments my girls and brings out the best features in each of them, it will not come before health, temperament and well-being.

Trinkaurity Puppies:

I am a micro-planner!  I like all the little details thought about ahead of time to ensure I am doing the best I can be.  I have a very detailed and carefully planned socialisation, habituation and enrichment program that my puppies are exposed from birth.  Puppies leave Trinkaurity Cockers at 8 weeks as ‘family ready’ and ‘big wide world ready’, as I can possibly get them to be.  I pride myself on my diverse and enriched developmental program, with the aim to carefully, gently and playfully expose our pups to the world, in a positive and engaging way.

I am always seeking new and exciting ways to challenge and engage my puppies developing brains! Those first 8 weeks in their lives are critical to bringing you the family pup you dream of.

Habituation and enrichment is central to the day to day life for my girls, I love bringing variety and challenge to their little worlds, to make it as enjoyable and fun as it can be.  As my girls (dogs!) are exposed to the early socialisation aspects when raising puppies, I regularly expose them to a wide variety of experiences to ensure they are as well balanced in our crazy world as possible.  This includes all the sights, sounds and smells that comes with living in today’s society.
