The Trinkaurity Cockers Waiting List Journey

Welcoming a Trinkaurity puppy is more than just securing a place,  it’s the beginning of a relationship based on trust, shared values, and thoughtful preparation. Below is a transparent, step-by-step guide to how the process works, what to expect, and how I’ll support you throughout.

STEP 1: Initial Application

• Your first step is to complete the application form.
• This is your opportunity to share with me about your home, your hopes, and the kind of life you dream of sharing with one of my Trinkaurity puppies.
• If anything feels overwhelming, or if you require assistance to complete the form, please reach out.

STEP 2: Informal Interview

• I carefully review every application and will offer families an informal interview.
• This is an opportunity for families to ask me as many questions as I have asked you!
• Successful families will receive a formal offer to join the waiting list.

Step 3: Formal Offers

How to secure your placement on the waiting list following formal offer:

• A £100 *non-refundable waiting list fee is required
• This fee is deducted from the final balance of your puppy.
• Families are placed onto the waiting list in order of non-refundable waiting list fee received.
• REFUND: If Trinkaurity Cockers is unable to offer you a puppy in line with your preferences within a reasonable time frame, you will receive a full return of the £100 waiting list fee.
• Once secured, families are placed onto the Waiting List in order of non-refundable waiting list fee received.  –

STEP 4: Priority List:

• As soon as a Trinkaurity Mama is confirmed in whelp (pregnant) I will speak with all families on the Waiting List.
• Families who wish to be considered for the litter, are added to the Priority List and ordered by the date their waiting list fee was received.

This list is specific to that litter only and does not affect anyone’s placement on the main waiting list.

To ensure fairness to all:

• Once the litter is born, the Priority List is Locked.
• All families, including those on the main waiting list, who express interest after the birth, will be added to the end of the Priority List.
• This ensures I am able to offer a fair, clear and respectful process for all.

Step 5: Reserving your Puppy

Once a litter has safely arrived and most importantly thriving, I begin inviting waiting list families to reserve their puppies.

• Reservations are completed in private on a 1-2-1 basis.
• It is fundamental that the welfare, wellbeing and needs of the puppy are always put first.  With that in mind, I may and do fall out of order of the Priority List.
• Families are informed about the observations I have made of the available puppies to allow them to make informed decisions.
• Once all puppies are reserved, the remaining families are immediately informed and will be told when the next litters are planned to allow you to organise and plan.
• Once Trinkaurity puppies are ready for reservation, they are reserved with £500 Pet Puppy Holding Fee**
• **This fee is non-refundable however, £500 (& the £100 WL fee) will both be deducted from the final balance of your puppy.
• The final balance is due when your puppy turns 7 weeks of age (they come home when they are 8 weeks old)

Throughout the entire time, you will be fully supported to ensure you are ready to welcome your Trinkaurity puppy home when they are 8 weeks old.

I am in the planning for 2025 – 2026 litters of DNA clear, low COI, full show type, English Cocker Spaniels with coat colours of: orange roan, blue roan, golden, black and sable.  If you feel you would be able to offer a wonderful, life long loving home for one of my Trinkaurity puppies, please do not hesitate to get in touch.  Applications are welcome for these and future litters are welcome.
